The STORM knocked the ELECTRICITY out plunging the basement into darkness.

"There's..there's something crawling up my leg!" cried Kala.

"Shh..it's okay..just don't SCREAM." whispered Leo. "It must be BIGFOOT my pet snake. He must have gotten out of his cage.'

Leo had invited his girlfriend over. They were planning for a cozy evening in. With the snowstorm wreaking havoc outdoors there wasn't much else to do.

"You never told me you had a snake?!!

"Shh..just got him..he's a boa constrictor...but he's harmless."

Leo felt for Kala..they found each other and Kala jumped into his arms.

"How about some ASTI SPUMANTE." he asked.

"Yumm...my favourite."

"I know.." smiled Leo.

With Kala holding onto to one arm...they found the couch and settled in. Leo felt for the bottle and glasses he had sitting out in preparation for the evening..and soon they were sipping the Asti..and snuggling close.

"What about the snake?"

"Don't worry. He's really harmless. He'll find himself a corner and fall asleep."

"Okay..ummm this is nice.." smiled Kala. "Maybe we could take a HOT BATH later..when the lights come back on..?"

"That would be real real nice TOOTSIE WOOTSIE." whispered Leo."

Kala giggle at Leo's nick name for her and held him tight. "Then it's YOU AND ME, BABE as soon as the lights come back on."

A few seconds later the lights flickered and came back on."

"Aha!" smiled Leo. 'Finally!..So how about that hot..?"

He turned toward the snake cage in which Bigfoot was curled up, locked in tight. That's strange..if it wasn't Bigfoot Kala felt crawling..

Kala's scream cut him off in mid sentence. Leo's whipped his head around. A figure stood in front of them..

There was someone else in the..!

A glint of metal.

"Nooo!!!"

The NEWS BULLETIN the next night told of the tragedy of the two young lovers found in the basement. Identifiable only through dental records...The police's only clue..A set of bloody FOOTPRINTS leading from the basement onto the stark white virgin snow.

I would love to answer it but I don't feel like spending the time. I'll just take my two points and be on my way. :D

I went on Myspace and read a news bulletin. It read: "Hello Tootsie Wootsie! Its just you and me, babe..." And the bulletin was sent by an unknown person. Then, a storm made the electricity go off. I heard a loud scream. I heard big feet stomping, and I saw footprints on the floor, like it was bigfoot or something. I felt like I needed a glass of water. It was probably a dream. I then took a hot bath, trieing to relax myself, and put a glass of asti spumante by my side. And I never woke up.

I was taking a shower late at night when a storm must have rolled in. While I was rinsing out my hair the electricity suddenly went out. I heard a scream come from downstairs where my 5 year old daughter was watching a TV show about Bigfoot. I jumped out of the shower, wrapped a towel around me, and grabbed an empty bottle of Asti Spumante for protection. I was glad I decided not to take a hot bath because I wouldnt have been able to rush to help my little tootsie wootsie downstairs. When I got to the living room, my daughter was gone, but left in her seat was a from my ex-wife that said "I told you to leave it between you and me, babe. Now I'm going to kill our daughter." The whole thing reminded me of something I read on a news bulletin two days ago. I threw on my coat and followed the dirty set of footprints that were left from my ex-wife.

I got the hot tub percolating at 112 degrees. I was going to join Anna out there after the kids went to bed. But before I could make it out, a lightning storm knocked off the electricity to the house. I was in the basement clicking on the generator when a scream startled me and made me hit my head on the cellar steps. I awoke an hour later. It seems a Bigfoot sidled into the tub with Anna. She handed him a glass of asti spumante, with her eyes closed. While in there with her in the hot bath, he began to play tootsie wootsie with my wife. She was so relaxed that she kept repeating, "You and me, babe, just us two, forever". She could have been cooking with the wookie a little longer if a bolt of lightning hadn't made her open her eyes. When she saw the big furry beast, she screamed and promptly passed out. The news bulletin later that evening reported that a soaking wet gorilla was seen in Camden Hills. What it didn't note was that the footprints through our backyard and the next lot over ended at the door of a Silver stream parked at the trailer park. I guess that even Bigfoots take vacations, once in awhile.

C. :)!!

...

It all started with a STORM. i suppose that's actually a lie, it really started when the ELECTRICITY went out. But it started with lots of rain and a SCREAM. i went downstairs and saw BIGFOOT watching a scary movie about the making of ASTI SPUMANTE.

It turns out that they make it by bathing an old lady in a HOT BATH, while her husband tickles her and says 'hi there TOOTSIE WOOTSIE'. than he climbs in and says other things including "how are you' 'what is up' and ' its just YOU AND ME BABE'. than they get out and splash it on the anchor of a NEWS BULLETIN. they try to run away but are found because the police follow their WET FOOTPRINTS.

I'll try

The TV blared 閳ユ藩torm Warning over the South West extending Eastward overnight閳?閳? The electricity cut out briefly making the TV shut down then restart. I exclaimed "What the..." My sister screamed from the toilet. 閳ユ窉anny did you cut the fuse again? I閳ユ獟l get you, you lil vermin! I need a torch somebody!閳?

Rumours had been circulating for days amongst our neighbours that a creature not unlike Bigfoot was doing hit and run raids on garbage bins in the area. Danny wasn't gonna tell his sister that. "heck, she freaks at spiders" he mused.

Two doors down閳?.Edie was enjoying a tall glass of Asti Spumante while luxuriating in her hot bath, surrounded by candles. She had had a rough day showing disinterested buyers through houses, so now she was ready to wind down and enjoy a 閳ユ发E閳?evening.

Meanwhile at the local Bar閳?Marvin the Bartender had Lily the waitress in a rough embrace in the back storeroom. 閳ユ窡ily my lil Tootsie Wootsie, tonight is the night, just you and me babe, in my roadster headed for Frisco. Waddya say?閳?Lily had stars in her eyes for Marvin. 閳ユ藩ure Marvie baby anythin閳?you say. I ain閳ユ獩 got nuthin閳?planned for the next 10 years of my life, if you ain閳ユ獩閳?br>

Danny閳ユ獨 sister got dressed and stomped outside to the fuse box. She heard above the sound of the strong wind a breaking of tree branches and a painful moan. 閳ユ凡hat!? Who閳ユ獨 there? Hello? Danny is that you, stop kidding around man!閳?

Edie knew it was garbage night so she carried her plastic bags and recyclables out to the kerb. Turning back to the house she saw a shadowy figure disappear around by the garage 閳?curious, she went to investigate.

Meanwhile Marvin and Lily jumped in the Mustang just after 11pm and were making their way slowly onto interstate 9 with the light of the full moon showing the way. Rain was starting to fall steadily.

A looming dark figure carrying something large suddenly jumped in front of them. Marvin slammed on the squealing brakes. For a split second he froze. The yellow eyes of a hairy beast stared back at him through the rain swept windscreen, then was gone. 閳ユ凡hat in damnation was that?閳?screamed Lily. 閳ユ伐h God, did we hit it, is it dead or coming back?閳?Marvin was too shocked to even reply.

Later that night as they pulled into the Highway 9 Junction Pitstop the TV in the caf鑼?was broadcasting a News Bulletin. 閳ユ窔t is believed the rumoured Bigfoot has claimed 2 lives in a South West Town tonight. Police are investigating the sighting of oversized footprints at two locations and interviewing one of the relatives of the missing persons. We閳ユ獟l bring you more news as it comes to hand閳? Lily and Marvin looked at each other in horror.

Danny said to the Policeman. 閳ユ窔 thought something was wrong when she went outside and left the door open. She閳ユ獨 always yelling at ME to shut the door閳ワ腹鈧腹鈧?閳?

The lids of the smashed garbage bins outside of Edie閳ユ獨 house fluttered and banged in the strong breeze閳?.

The end

Summer 1977

Okay, so the tandem bikepacking trip Peggy and I took to Yosemite was good but not perfect. On the third night out, there was a storm! Lightning, big forks of electricity, flashed in the sky. We cowered in our little nylon tent.

Then... we heard a clatter and a scream! We got out of the tent to look... and then we saw... BIGFOOT! Peggy took a picture, blinding us, and the creature, with the flash. Then we ran.

We must have run miles and miles and miles and miles and miles and miles and miles, before we tumbled to the ground and I heard her say, "I think we're alone now, there doesn't seem to be anyone arou-ound." We were both out of breath.

"I could use an Asti Spumante and a hot bath, Tootsie Wootsie." I said.

"You and me, babe, both," said Peggy. "Um, not at the same time, though. Well, we better pass on the Asti Spumante, since we're neither of us of drinking age."

We huddled in the cold. Fortunately the lightning storm didn't give way to rain. In the morning, we started walking back. A friendly ranger found us, and called in that he'd done so. He turned on his pickup's radio, and we got to hear a news bulletin about us being found!

When we got back to the campsite, we didn't find any outsize footprints. Our bike had been knocked over, though.

A couple of weeks later, I got our photos back from Castle Photographic in South Pasadena. Oh my goodness! The picture Peggy had taken turned out to be an old lady wearing an oversized brown coat! I guess she must have cried out when she accidentally stumbled into our bike in the dark!

The Storm had been raging for hours. The violent curses of thunder and the heavy-handed lightning strikes were giving this sleepy little town a wakeup call and a brutal beating. Trees strained against strength of the wind. The wind winning, most often, the tug of war. A fierce rain fell from the sinister sky flooding the empty dark streets. The electricity had long gone out in the whole town and blackness prevailed inside and out. Between thunder breaks a strange silence sang out from the shuttered houses where most of the inhabitants huddled in fear and those of faith prayed. The silence seemed an eerie voice, even more so when intruded upon by a piercing Scream or the haunting howl of a frightened dog. It did not help to ease the feeling of dread that two weeks ago a rumour had been started that BigFoot had been spotted in a nearby town. Although most dismissed it as something originated by school children, the story created a sense of foreboding in the superstitious and the faint of heart. And on a

night such as this, it arose in many minds. Such was the scenario of this very SCARY night.

So, Its hard to imagine that anyone, or any two people could be oblivious to it all, the storm, the rumour, the impending doom. But they were; they were oblivious and they were in love. Such deep love shuts out all else. They were not aware of the severity of the storm, they had heard but had forgotten the tales of Bigfoot and felt neither fear nor dread, only an all consuming amazing infatuation. They did not know of the power outage. They had chosen darkness and a single candle's dim light for their magic night. He handed her a delicate glass filled with Asti Spumante after she emerged smelling of honeysuckle oil from the hot bath he had prepared for her. She embraced him and called him Tootsie Wootsie, their pet name for each other. He kissed her gently and whispered, You And Me, Babe forever. Suddenly, there was a sound and a sight that even passion could not place aside.

They turned as one to face their fate.

Very early the next day, the News Bulletin announced the disappearance of the newlyweds. It was reported that extremely large Footprints had been discovered in their home. The sun shone bright in a clear sky as it often does, after a storm.

I was sitting in my living room waiting to see if we were going to get hit by the snow STORM that was coming across the lake. Worried I may lose my ELECTRICITY, I went into the attic searching for a flashlight. The floor was creaking and I heard a high pitched SCREAM. To my surprise that girly scream had emerged from an alien form of BIGFOOT who was sitting in MY attic sipping on MY lost bottle of ASTI SPUMANTE. I thought to myself that a HOT BATH may help me with my wandering imagination. While I lay soaking, a voice asked "would you like me to wash your TOOTSIE WOOTSIE?, nobody else is here, it's just YOU AND ME, BABE". I freaked, and listened to the NEWS BULLETIN about the storm that was sure to hit us. I ran away from my alien bigfoot monster in hopes that the snow would cover my

FOOTPRINTS quickly. That was one wicked dream!!
