Pictures disappearing in MySpace mail?

There is a user on my Friends list on MySpace and she asked this question in a bulletin: Why is it the pictures I get in my inbox will appear for a second then disappear? Anyone else with this problem? I know another friend told me this happened to him when I sent some photos, but now it happened to me.

I really don't know why this is happening. I would say that the picture sent is not on her computer, so it would not be able to display the photo successfully.

Ok. Well I just figured out a solution with photobucket. I don't know how much it will help with other sites but for photobucket I removed part of the link and now it's displaying. But here is the link photobucket gives me, below it is the part I took out, and below that is what I now used successfully. Hope it helps!

I don't have the answer. I have the same question. This is particularly frustrating because I generally send all my pics through myspace mail because a lot of friends are in the army and it's fast on their slow connection to send like this. Does someone know whats wrong? Did myspace disable sending of HTML images to help against spam?
