I am a medical student, and I am not wealthy. But I believe that if a person is strong and resourceful, they can attain anything. I'm just looking for good leads. My parents own a house in Santa Monica where I grew up. I love it here. I see myself in a house where I can water the lawn, grow some flowers, study in peace, and cook in my own kitchen. I need two roommates who share my vision, and who are financially stable, to realize this dream. I don't think posting on bulletin boards will ever provide results. Any suggestions?

There are VERY few affordable houses (if any) for rent in santa monica, but then again you already know that if you grew up here. You'd have better luck finding a small one bedroom house with a small yard, on occasion you can find one for under $1500 a little further inland. Good luck.
