How did someone hack into my account?

i logged on and then i read my new messages. There was a perverted comment sent from myself. I was confused then when i went to all my friends's profile, they were all sent to my friends. I was so freaking pissed. I didn't send those and how could someone hack into my account. Also on the bulletin page, it sad i has posted three topics (that i didn't post) and they had a title but no body. Im so scared that the person might go on my account again. I did change my password and email, but can that prevent the hack? Help me!

you need more details, was it like your email that was spammed, or your yahoo account, or myspace, or what?

most likely it was just spam. nothing you can really do about it, but spam shouldn't cause any serious damage.

if you are the kind of person that ignores updates, you could have been hacked. whenever a program asks you to update, whether it is windows or just firefox or something, go ahead and update. the updates often are to seal up holes that a hacker can get in through.

myspace is beyond hope, as far as worms and viruses are concerned. if you were having these problems on there there is nothing you can do about that either

If it was myspace; it should have said, "Your account has been phised!" (er, something like that) its happened to me before. But changing your e-mail, and password should definitely help. Although, the person that hacked into your account might just be a computer geek(or genius) and still be able to get in. I think you can contact with whatever website you have an account with; and tell them about it. I hope you can figure this out!!!

Well I will assume you are talking about Myspace. This site has many comments that are sent through cookies. like when you click on a website link it stores the cookies and these cookies have a special code so when you go to post a comment for a friend it shows are posting what you want but the cookie shows a perverted comment or picture. Your account was not hacked it is more considered spam. And Myspace does not care about this and will not do anything about it. Myspace also sells your information to marketing companies therefore you get hundreds of spam e-mails in your yahoo email.

They could of because your name of your email or avatar could of gave hints what your passowrd could of been.Also just check your stuff everday and never put stuff on here like hints to your password,also it could of been a friend if you have told them your password .Never give your password to anybody , not even a person you thought you could trust. You can prevent by not puting hints up like if your password was purple and your avatar was all purple thats a hint. Also dont tell anyone your password. Hope it helps!
