I remember the day I heard those fateful words - (2) "We interrupt this program with a special bulletin." And they went on to tell us of the death of John Lennon. (4) As I walked down Menlove Avenue in Liverpool later that day with my wife. I told her (3) "I remember all the fun we had listening to John's songs." She reminded me how we fell in love to him singing (10) "If I fell in love with you." "Yes, I remember" I said recalling those (5) echoes from a different era when it seemed guns weren't so easy to come by. (9) There are places I remember too because of a particular Beatles song that was playing at the time. I remember being down at the pier with her laughing because "Yellow submarine" came on the radio as we were looking at the submarines.

John believed that (6) all you need is love but his love of man was not enough to protect him from madness. I've heard it said that (1) you don't take nothing with you but your soul when you leave here. John proved that wrong as he took part of all our souls the day he passed. He never wrote anything you could (8) clap your hands and stomp your feet to, but his songs touched us in more gentler ways.

(7) Do you believe in time travel? No? Neither do I, but it would be nice to be able to go back to that day and somehow save him so we could have even more songs now to remember him by. But alas, there is no time machine for that. All we can do now is imagine the music he could have created. Which reminds me...maybe I'll go listen to "Imagine" now.

Yes! I could totally write a story about John Lennon using all 10 of those sentences (I love to write and I think I'm good at it), but it would take me a few hours and I want to go on and answer more questions on YA, so I won't be participating in the story writing this morning.

John Winston Ono Lennon, MBE (9 October 1940 閳?8 December 1980), was an English songwriter, singer, musician, graphic artist, author and peace activist who gained worldwide fame as one of the founders of The Beatles. Lennon and Paul McCartney formed a critically acclaimed and commercially successful partnership writing songs for The Beatles and other artists.[1] Lennon, with his cynical edge and knack for introspection, and McCartney, with his storytelling optimism and gift for melody, complemented each other.[2] In his solo career, Lennon wrote and recorded songs such as "Imagine" and "Give Peace a Chance".

Lennon revealed his rebellious nature and irreverent wit on television, in films such as A Hard Day's Night (1964), in books such as In His Own Write, and in press conferences and interviews. He channelled his fame and penchant for controversy into his work as a peace activist, artist, and author.

He had two sons, Julian, with his first wife Cynthia, and Sean, with his second wife, avant-garde artist Yoko Ono. Lennon was murdered by Mark David Chapman in New York City on 8 December 1980 as he and Ono returned home from a recording session.

In 2002, respondents to a BBC poll on the 100 Greatest Britons voted Lennon into eighth place. In 2004, Rolling Stone ranked Lennon number 38 on their list of "The Immortals: The Fifty Greatest Artists of All Time"[3][4] and ranked The Beatles at number 1.

As i walk down Menlove ave in Liverpool i see John Lennon standing there, The weather was cold today and i could see my own breath i walked up to john and said " clap your hands and stomp your feet" that should keep you warm. He then asked me if i believe in time travel i said i wasn't to sure as i have never experienced it before and that maybe we are hearing echos from a different era. Then he starts to daydream saying "there are places i remember from when i was a young boy and if i could time travel i would go back there" i ask he what does he remember from when you where young and he said All you need is love.

lol thats all i got I could go on but then that would be my day gone with this :)
